Concert Trois Cafés Gourmands: the 2nd day of holiday ending with a good coincidence. Sebastien, Jeremy and Milene gave a concert in Carcasonnes close to Toulouse. So we could not miss them! Sebastien organised invitation for us. After we put Zoe in bed we managed to drive their and see the last part of the show. What a change compared to the last show we saw 2 years ago in the middle of France. We managed to meet them backstage and spend some time to catch-up. We are very happy to see that they are enjoying this life, full of energy and smiling all the time. Continue, continue, continue!
The swimming pool was not fully ready we went on Monday to the Aqualand of Agen. Mamou won tickets on a Radio game. Zoe was over excited and we spent the day from one module to the other. She particularly enjoyed the pool with artificial waves.

On Tuesday, the swimming pool at Papou and Mamou’s house is getting closer to be ready. The filling started and Zoe enjoyed very much to play in 70cm water. At night we went to Nico and Carole. Thank to them we also invited Marion and David. We all had a nice evening with kids around. Toward the end of the dinner, Zoe was a very good girl even though she was very tired.
Until the weekend we spend the day relaxing between the swimming pool to all the playground around the house. Papa Mathieu was happy to run along the Canal du Midi. We had the visit of Papi Gégé and Mamie Dédé
On Friday, we took the road direction Montpellier where Tatie Marion’s new home is. Zoe slept almost the whole way. Unfortunately, on saturday the weather was rainy. We had to improvise from the original plan of going to the beach. We took the direction of the Aquarium. It was awesome and really worth the visit. We all enjoyed the building and spent 2 hours watching the different fishes and small shows. For lunchtime, we went in front of the aquarium where stands a Pirate’s Restaurant. That was the 2nd nice surprise of the day. The food came quickly and we had a show in parallel. There is an indoor playground too! The deco is fantastic. Xavier joined us and we could catch with this ex-colleague from Germany. The end of the day took place at the beach. The wet sand was perfect for castle building. At night we all ordered delicious Burgers at Marion’s house.
On Sunday, we went to the “Animaux de la ferme”. The concept is to learn about animal and plants of the farm. It is made as an entertainment park with keeping the attention on ecosystem and nature. So a lot of information was available for the people interested in permaculture and how to have sustainable agriculture as well as the plants to have at home. Zoe enjoyed the most the ride on poney. She was very brave for her first time. We could approach the baby goat too. So cuties!!!
For the rest of the day, Marion brought us to a private beach/restaurant. We started with the food from this 2 famous chef in Montpellier. All high quality, from the taste, presentation, service and of course the view. Then we transfer to the beach where the wind was present and limited the access to the water and playing with the sand. We did many things during this weekend. Marion hosted us with good care. Zoe wanted to stay more but it was time to head back to Papou and Mamou.
On Monday, we saw Mamie Denise at a restaurant next to Nailloux. We were on the terrasse with a lot of space for Zoe to run. The scenery was again really nice with the hills of the Lauragais. We took the café at Gautier and Karolina. The house was full of kids that played together so we could spend a bit of time talking. For dinner back at Papou and Mamou we invited Stefane and Eva. Between the good progress at Eva’s work and the different travels, they look very good.
Our last day in Deyme (Toulouse), we stayed at home and relax. For dinner, Cyril joined us and shared many stories about his big house-share.
Wednesday, at the Toulouse airport. We had a bad souvenir of departure from this airport. But this time, everything went flawless! It seems that the reorganisation of the airport is finished. The security and circulation in the international area are much improved. It put us in the mood to buy some good things from France in the duty-free area. All bags filled, we are ready for our holiday part 2 in Kéa Island.
In Kea, Zoe is overexcited and does not want to go to bed at night. She wakes up early and moves all around the house continuously. The house was made ready by Panos who is there since few weeks. The pool is ready and Zoé enjoys it very much. So much that she started to swim alone with the bricks! All the family is very proud of her progress. She also is not scared to jump into the water and even went with the enhanced version of sliding into the pool.
Papou Panos received finally his birthday gift. He always mentions that we should use tray in Kea so we bought him the biggest tray we found. We decorated it to make it personalized to him and we did not forget his best friend the parrot.
Johnny and Kelly joined us for the weekend and we had nice food and talks. The last day got spent on the beach before heading up the direction the ferry.
