After 6 very nice days in Munich, a very exhausting flight back to Athens was waiting for Katerina and Zoe! Due to a strike the day before the flight, Munich airport was overcrowded and the bad news came quickly… two and a half hours delay of the flight.. Unfortunately, Lufthansa did not offer something to a single mother with a baby during this long waiting.. not a place for the baby to lay down, not even a glass of water.. fortunately the rest of the passengers were polite enough to “judge” correctly the situation and help Katerina and Zoe in the small simplest things during these hours. Zoe as always was a very good girl but Katerina had to stand up and walk almost continuously in order Zoe to be relaxed and happy. During the flight back, Zoe managed to sleep for one hour (it was after 9pm) so Katerina could finally drink and eat something and do some basic stuff for herself 🙂 It was a very exhausting experience but every day with Zoe is worth it.. no matter what !!
